Anegan a Dhanush starrer was screened on Feb.12.2015, directed by K.V.Aanand. Here we present a review on Anegan. Movie starts at Burma with Burma Tamils Dhanush, Jagan working as coolies. Dhanush performs well in this case. Plot of the movie is Hero and heroine takes rebirth in 4 lives. Some characters also travel with them through these births. At the last birth, Dhanush works in an IT office where the heroine also works as a software engineer. Karthik is the head of the company. Heroine undergoes some mental depression and was treated. During her treatment she recollects her previous birth memories. The movie goes on. At certain point the director really confuses us, say the colleague of Heroine committing suicide is because of depression or else because of the Ghost? Later we come to know about the other face of Karthik. The conspiracy behind the screen. The songs were not up to the level except “Dangaa Maari”. We wonder why the Prince and pricess character exists in the movie just for a song.? This is a loop hole in the movie.
Coming to heroine – Being a new face she gives a mediocre performance. She also irritates at times when she starts blabbering about her previous birth. Talking about Karthik, as usual Karthik is Karthik. Jagan makes us laugh at times. Dhanush acting as Maari was awesome.
To mention about K.V.Aanand. This is totally a new concept. Concept about rebirth. Congrats to K.V.Aanand for a new attempt. But we expect more from K.V.Aanand.
