Junior NTR is back on silver screens with his next action film. Temper – a fim by Puri Jagannath was screened last week. Let’s have a quick look at this movie.
Movie starts with a small boy Daya(N.T.R.Jr) dreaming about becoming a police. On his way to ambition, when wasn’t able to achieve it, he chooses the wrong path. He becomes a police man in crooked ways. We should definitely congratulate the director for such a massive (e)NTRy for NTR. Whistles sounds were reverberating throughout the theatre.
NTR is a corrupt police officer and earns lots of money in wrong way. NTR gets transfer to new state in order to support Villain Waltair (Prakash Raj’s) illegal business. In his new work place NTR’s attitude doesn’t go well with his colleague Narayana Moorthy (Posani Krishna Murali), a straight-forward officer. He plays an important role throughout the movie. NTR falls in love with Shanvi(Kaajal). Kaajal’s role in this movie is very less. She’s been used just to fill the vaccum of romance and Songs which are required for any regular Telugu and commercial movie.
At a point the corrupt officer turns into a correct officer. This is where the real twist takes place. We should definitely mention about the director Puri Jagannath. Hats off to him. Literally he sculpted each and every scene of the movie. I think he knows the pulse of the Telugu audience!! We should say that he’s a master in the art of creating scenes, which would win the applause of the audience. Yeah! we could see many scenes in which the audience go crazy clapping and whistling !! For example, the first chasing scene of the movie, Murthy(sicere PC) saluting NTR etc., We could also see very touchy scenes like NTR calling an elderly person as “Naana”(father) and requests to beat him(NTR) in such a way that a Father beats his son were few among them. Literally he presented a Massss hero on screen. NTR also acted very well in this movie and we could see an entirely different NTR with six packs and his dance was awesome!!
But we could see some traces of encouraging wrong officials and bribery. Like, NTR saying that we couldn’t find the difference between corrupt currency(bribe) and correct currency(money earned in proper way). People shouldn’t be mis-leaded by such dialogues. But we could also see a very sincere police denying to use the corrupt money even at a very important situation. At the top of all these we could say about the climax, where here tricks the villains to make justice for a woman(rape victim). At last NTR brutally kills those 4 villains. Hero does on screen what every genuine Men in India would like to do to those kind of criminals but which they couldn’t do in their real life. Finally the movie ends with a social message. Based on Rape issues and other violence against women.
The movie presents what ever required for a normal masala, entertainer also with a message which we should appreciate. But still we request the Telugu film makers move on to the next level and create real actors and not just Mass heros and stories not just usual masala stories. We also wish that this movie should be re-made in Tamil!
